The
doctors thought I might have an infection, so they sent me
to the NICU for a few days where they treated me with
antibiotics. Turned out there was no infection.
But by the time I was done staying in the NICU I had
jaundice and need some treatment under special lights to
deal with that. In the end I was released and given a
"perfect" bill of health by my pediatrician.
Mom, on the other hand, may need years of therapy to get
over the whole NICU experience. |
